appears the most frequent when the person is in their adolescent. The

dirt and bacteria is frequent. This dirt gets into the pores of the
skin and blocks the Sebum (oil) and bacteria grows. Usually, the area,
which is affected by acne, is the face, chest, back and shoulders.
Fortunately for most people, acne usually diminishes, as they grow
older. As they get into their late twenties and into their thirties
occurrence are very rare. Some though would continue to suffer until
they are much older but not as prevalent but still numerous. Aside from
the emotional stress made by acne, another factor is the physical
aspect. Acne scarring due to bad acne
treatment will and might
probably leave in the face and other affected areas, which will be an
embarrassing reminder of the acne you may have suffered.
There are many factors that can cause acne; the best prevention is to
clean your face always. There are now numerous ways to treat
acne so that you may either
prevent them from happening or you may speed up the treatment and

process. Different persons have different reactions to different acne
treatments, here
are some of the acne treatments
available that you can try, check them out and see which one works for
you.
Most people use over the counter (OTC) creams and medicine to treat
their pimples. They may also come on the forms of soap and lotions or
facewash. Not all of them are guaranteed to work for everyone, try them
out first to see which one works best. Remember disproportionate use of
any acne
product can cause redness,
dryness of the face and can actually cause more acne. Follow the
directions in each product to make sure the acne treatment is in
optimized effectivity.
Over
the Counter acne treatments come
in different forms and ingredients, most of them are backed by
scientific studies but the effectivity varies for each person. Some
have found that a combination of two or more of these OTC
acne treatments works best for
them. To be sure, consult a dermatologist first to avoid worsening the
situation.
With antibiotics like tetracyclines or by using bactericidal substances
like benzoyl peroxide or erythromycin you can kill the bacteria found
inside the pores that causes acne.
Daily oral intake of Vitamin A derivates like isotretinoin greatly
reduces the oil secretions from the glands making the less susceptible
to acne. However this treatment is usually done as a last recourse
because of the many side effects that they bring. Dermatologists
usually keep a close tab on their patients that undergo this
acne treatment to make sure that
no bad effects like dry skin, nose bleeding, liver damage and in some
instances affect the baby in pregnant women.
Medications such as topical retinoids like tretinoin, adapelene, and
tazarotene helps normalize the follicle life cycle. They are typically
used in OTC creams and moisturizers.
Salicylic acid and glycolic acid are chemical exfoliating agents used
to exfoliate the skin. They can either be done manually, using an
abrasive cloth or a liquid scrub, or chemically. This exfoliating
agents encourage the peeling of the top layer of skin to prevent a
build-up of dead skin cells which combine with skin oil to block pores.
It also aids in unblocking already clogged pores.

treatment you see fit for you
it, it is still best to consult a dermatologist first. Even when
cleaning your face, excessive cleaning may lead to excess drying and
the production of more pore clogging oil, which in turn could cause
more acne. Thatís why take things in moderation first and
donít lose hope, your acne problem days are over with these effective
